Car parking is no problem and is just a few strides from the lake.

Current Prices

The current charge from February 2006, is £5 per full day and another £2 for each extra rod.

After 4pm it is only £4 and another £2 for each extra rod.

There are no concessions

Fairhaven Fishery

This is a fair sized lake, recently extended, boasting 5 islands and 

holding a well stocked variety of fish.  Upper singles to mid-double

Carp were stocked in January 2004.  Recently, in February 2006, small

fast growing Barbel and the new F2 Carp have been stocked.

The lake ranges in depth from 1 - 11 feet and features 5 islands which

are obvious patrolling areas for the many Carp and Tench

The fishery boasts Carp to 18lbs with an average of 3lb, there are also

Tench, Koi, Crucian, Roach and Barbel

How to get there

The fishery is situated on Croston Road in Leyland.

Exit the M6 at junction 29 and follow A6 Preston.  At traffic lights go straight through with B & Q on one side and Sainsburys on the right.  Straight over the next roundabout onto the dual carriageway and straight over the next roundabout onto Farington Road. At the double roundabout, take the first exit from the second one onto Croston Road and the fishery is approx 50 yards up on the right hand side.
