These carp were caught at heskin old farm fishery (charnock richards chorley), on the Sunday 11.10.09, weighing 11lb 7 oz and 7lb, caught on prawn and  luncheonmeat. both fished using 4lb  line straight through on a 14 hook. This has to be the best fishery we have ever been to, we must have pulled in at least over 100lb of fish including some nice roach , tench, and bream.

66lb 10oz plus catfish caught by John McNicholas at White Acres Newquay

on 10th April 2009, a new lake record which bottomed his scales at that weight,

Caught using half a tin of luncheon meat.

These two weighed in at 57lb and 44lb.  All these catfish fell to the same half tin of luncheon meat bait

after not fishing for 10 years Gozzie has got back into it and went to bluebell lakes in oundle, sat for four hours at sandmartin lake and then got my new pike pb of 17lb 6oz on ledgered roach and one 2 mins later of 16lb 1oz

Two pike caught by Giz Williams, the one at night was about 15lbs, and the other was 20+ both good strong fish,  the 15lb was caught on  a brown trout and the 20+ was on a roach.
