This is my brothers first ever sturgeon and it weighed 11lb 8oz. Caught using
luncheon meat on his first trip to Beacon view. Pic from Dave Lavin.

These sturgeon of 13lb and 8lb were taken from Beacon View in May 2007 by Dave Liptrott. Both were caught on a waggler about 4 foot out and 5 foot deep on spam. Dave caught 5 sturgeon that day, his first visit to Beacon View.

This was only Stephen O'Hare's second day out at Lathom Fisheries 21/4/07.He had caught lots of small mirrors, tench and barbel on the day then got into this fish. He caught it on Luncheon meat. He's now bugging his Dad when can he go out next.

Looks like this fish wasn't the only thing hooked on the day!

This is Nigel Jackson's first sturgeon caught on a freezing cold day at Beacon View using luncheon meat.

Greg caught this personal best 17lb 1oz mirror carp from Croft lodge, Brinscall on the 17th august 2006. He caught it on a source boilie tipped with fake corn, all glugged in the source liquid.

A personal best of 56lb for Alan caught on a trip to France.

Caught at Burton Mere on a single 21mm halibut pellet, a nice catfish of 24 and a half pounds, also had carp of 20lbs plus from the same water.

Just a few of the carp caught during Chris's stay at Thursland Hill recently.

More photos from Ian Boyle with a 7lb, an 8lb, and a new PB 9lb trio of carp taken from Cudmore on 29/04/06. These were among a good mix of fish taken during the day including barbel, perch, bream and roach all in all, a good day!

Pictures received from Ian Boyle showing a common carp caught at Partridge Fishery on a lake called piper, the fishery is in Warrington, and the fish is 7lb exactly which is
Ian's personal best and was caught on meat on the 22-04-2006.

The second photo is Ian's son Warren Boyle he is 7 years old, and there's a bit of a story to his fine catch. Ian took him to Cudmore fishery in Stoke on Trent sometime around june/july 2005, they were fishing on a lake called milo on sweetcorn and Warren put his 3 meter whip down on the floor to get himself a drink and the next thing they knew his whip got pulled in! They could see the whip about 40/50 feet out so knew the fish was still
on as they could see it moving around. Then it stopped so Ian's friend David set up a ledger and cast it in to try and get Warren's whip back and was successful on the 2nd attempt. He started reeling in and the fish was still hooked anyway we got the whip back with a 2-3 lb barbel and that made Warren's day as you can see from the photo above.

This pike was caught by Adrian Curston from Wensum Lake at the Lakeside Country Club in Lyng Norfolk on 22/12/2005. It was caught on 10lb line and ledgered 1/2 herring. Not only is it Adrian's personal best pike but it is also a record for the lake at 26lb 3oz
