The
Pond is roughly 1/3 acre in size and has been established for over
10 years. This is a very popular place
to fish and attracts anglers from Cumbria, Yorkshire,
Cheshire and even Lincolnshire.
It is advisable during the
season to arrive early to
avoid disappointment as there are only 17 pegs.
It
is well stocked with both Mirror and Common Carp up to 25+lb,
averaging
around
9 - 10lb. There are also a few Tench and large Roach to
be had. All baits work well including maggot,
meat, corn and cat food.
